Do not lay down for 4 hours following your treatment.
Do not touch or rub injected site for 2 to 4 hours following treatment. Avoid exercise and sweating for the remainder of the day.
Do not wear a hat, visor or headband where the band goes across your forehead if you have had injections between the brows or in the forehead.
Do not massage or manipulate injected areas for 24 hours after injections. Do not receive facial / laser treatments or microdermabrasion after Botox injections for at least 10 days. Washing your face is fine, Make-up may be applied before leaving the office.
Retrain from using ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oil supplements, or Vitamin E for 24 hours following injection.
Please be aware that some, though very few patients, experience a mild headache. You may take Tylenol to help with this for pain relief.
Be assured that tiny bumps or marks will go away within a few hours after your treatment. There is a small risk of bruising. If bruising appears, apply ice to area for 15 minutes every hour to decrease bruising.
The results of your treatment can take up to 14 days to take full effect. Usually patients notice a change in 2 to 10 days. It takes time for the muscles to lose strength and the lines to fade following Botox treatment. Please wait until 2 weeks have passed before assessing if you are pleased with the result.
